Wellbore Completion
Contents |
Definition
A Wellbore Completion is a group of one or more Wellbore Contact Intervals that functions as a unit to produce or inject fluids. A Wellbore Completion must be capable of isolating a fluid flow for continuous measurement.
Clarification
A Wellbore Completion can span multiple Wellbores or Wellbore Segments and may consist of one or more Wellbore Contact Intervals.
There are zero, one or more Wellbore Completions for each Well. One Wellbore Completion can span multiple reservoirs, and a single reservoir can flow into multiple Wellbore Completions.
Wellbore Completion in the PPDM Data Model
The identity of a wellbore completion is loaded in the WELL table, with WELL_LEVEL_TYPE = 'Wellbore Completion'. Create relationships between the wellbore completion and other well components in the WELL_XREF table.
A high level mapping of well components and PPDM 3.8 is shown in the attachment.
Information that describes the activities and the physical completion characteristics are described in these tables in PPDM 3.8.
