Introduction
The Health and Safety of the general population and individuals that work in the resource development industry is of high importance.
Health and Safety Module Overview
Purpose
The purpose of this module is to provide means for capturing information about the health ands safety of the general population and those individuals that work in the natural resource development industry.
In the future this could include information about safety training for the general population and individuals that work in the industry. As well it could include things such as a safety awards system that encourages safe working practices in the industry.

Incidents
An incident is a random event that has occurred in the deliverance of some business process that has put the public or industry workers in potential danger or has actually caused injury to such.
Purpose
This subject area is used to capture information about incidents that occur in the Resource Development Industry and the details surrounding the event. Currently this has been defined for individuals that work in drilling operations.
Description
Captured in this sub-module is information about the incident itself; who has been affected, how serious was the incident, what is the response taken, what caused it, and so on.
