HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT
PPDM 3.8 supports incident reporting, such as accidents or near accidents. Most often, these tables are used to help report incidents to a regulatory authority, or based on corporate or contractual requirements.
Tables
Several minor subject areas exist in this module:
List Kinds of Incidents
These two tables broadly classify incidents.
These tables define the kinds of incidents that are important. Each HSE_INCIDENT_SET is a set of incident types that are defined by an agency, often a regulatory agency.
Even though some of the HSE_INCIDENT_TYPE in various sets may have the same name, they may or may not actually refer to the same thing. Use HSE_INCIDENT_EQUIV to explicitly describe how each incident type is (or is not) equivalent to others.
These two tables are used to grade the levels of severity that each type of incident may have. These definitions are often derived from regulations, and provide important contextual information about incidents.
