PPDM 2001 Houston Spring Conference Summary

The PPDM Houston Spring Conference held in Houston during May was an immense success. The trend of increasing member and non-member participation at these events continued with over 60 registered participants from 5 continents. The theme of this year's conference was "2001: A Spatial Odyssey".

Activities over the two-week period included two days of interactive presentations and discussions at the Spring Conference, a week long Biostratigraphy Work Group meeting, one-day Land, Seismic and Data Exchange Work Group meetings and a half-day Reserves Work Group meeting. Special thanks to IHS Energy Group, Burlington Resources Inc. and Mitchell Energy and Development Corporation for supplying the facilities for these events.
